audio tape recordings, video projection, microphones, podiums and
simultaneous interpreting equipment for meetings and international
conferences at the Department of State, the White House, Capitol Hill and
other agencies.
- Travel
to remote sites to provide live media feeds from distant locations to the
Department of State to fulfill requests from the Press Office and the news
media for high quality sound feeds of the Secretary of State's official
speaking engagements.
- Operate
and maintain an in-house cable television system feeding over seven
hundred TVs with forty-eight channels of local programming and domestic
and foreign information and news services, down linked from satellites
from around the world.

advice and assistance on techniques and media for achieving program
requirements while coordinating with senior executives to resolve
conflicts and recommend solutions.
- Developed
and executed division budgets of over $700,000 to provide the school with
the latest in broadcast education including training, travel, production
and maintenance.
- Communicated
department video capabilities and tailored them to provide complete video
and multimedia support to four other divisions, thirty departments and
over 5000 students.
- Developed
and procured a master scheduling process that allowed a complete
undertaking to better align expenditures with classes and the many DOD
agencies that used our services.

and supervised recording of seminars, class activities, conferences, and
lectures by analyzing workloads, establishing priorities and finalizing
production and technical decisions.
- Orchestrated
a $250,000 upgrade of college video support, aligning it closer to the
mission of providing unsurpassed graduate level education with decreasing
budgets and staffing.
- Directed
over 300 live multi-camera video recordings of high-level government
officials and distinguished guest lecturers, which have become essential
to the Total Quality process.
- Conceived
and implemented distance learning capabilities using video teleconferencing
to increase availability of classes and instruction throughout the
acquisition community.

- Developed
and refined the "DSMC WELCOMES INDUSTRY" promotional video, that
increased government contractor?s extensive use of the Program Managers
Course.
- College's
key player in the successful completion of the "ARMY ACQUISITION
CORPS" video, which was instrumental in building the corps into an
important force in acquisition.
- Consulted
with faculty and students to develop scripts and storyboards, and produced
video and multimedia programs that increased the effectiveness of
education in the courses taught.
- Conceived
and initiated an extensive training plan, which cross-trained production
and maintenance personnel to integrate disciplines and better manage an
understaffed facility.

- Lead
19 motion media specialists comprising the largest documentation unit in
the Air Force.
- Editor
and assistant producer for the "INAUGURATION OF GEORGE BUSH"
video.
- Planned
and videotaped the opening of "THE BOB HOPE SHOW" broadcast by
NBC.
- Coordinated
between the FBI, DOD and FAA, while directing a twelve-hour, four-camera
shoot of an anti-hijacking exercise. The video was used for seminars
throughout the DOD.
- Worked
extensively on special operations programs that provided unique video
products for training and briefings to individuals in the highest levels
of the United States Government.
- Computerized
the post-production system, to provide on-line and off-line editing
abilities, which provided us with video-editing faculties both for studio
production and field locations.
- Published
an extensive handbook for camera crewmembers that provided them with the
information required for remote video production and helped to improve
their camera skills.
Aerial Photographer, HQ Aerospace
Audiovisual Service, Norton AFB, CA
August 1980 - May 1985
- Provided
the primary view of "OPERATION URGENT FURY", as one of the first
camera operators into Grenada, released almost 70 minutes of video,
broadcast by the networks.
- Produced
a series of promotional video spots featuring the cast of "CALL TO
GLORY", the band Autograph, and actor Charlton Heston, these were
used to improve moral and welfare.
- Documented
"ROTC DRILL MEET", using a defective camera, overcame the
problem and produced footage that provided over 90 percent of the video
used in the final product.
- Chief
editor, in support of the Aerospace Audiovisual Service Commander's
Conference, providing personnel from around the world a memorable review
of accomplishments.
